Update on my symptoms:
The last few days at work have been okay. I'm feeling much better than I had been, and a nice long walk outside yesterday afternoon in the sunshine really helped! I went for another walk with the dogs last night to the library. I really need to exercise, but it makes me feel very sick. This walk went well. I am hoping to walk every nice day. The dogs benefit too! The last two nights have been hard on me. I get extremely hot with headaches-- I'm not sure if I am coming down with something or if it is just hormones. Who knows. I've been eating ever couple hours and that really helps with the nausea.
I am trying to compile a list of questions for Chris at Friday's appointment. Dave is going to go with me. My main questions are about medications-- can I take cough drops or cold-eeze for my sore throat/ear ache? Can I drink red bull? Am I gaining too much weight? ( I weighed myself last night and it looks like I've gained 4 pounds) Err... I'm so bothered with this. I know its normal to gain, but I want to be healthy and not gain too much. I tried on a pair of pants last night, and they were waaaay too tight. The button was about 4 inches away from the snap!! And that was pulling them as far together as I could! I had worked so hard to lose weight, so it makes this kind of difficult. BUT, the main reason I wanted to lose weight was to be healthy, and to have a better chance at having a baby. Well, God made both things happen, and I am truly greatful!!! so I really should just get over this whole weight thing. I am just making it clear that I don't like it!:)
Interestingly enough, I cannot wait to start showing! To be able to see my baby's growth will be so beautiful! By 10 weeks, jellybean should double its size to two inches! That is amazing! This week (week 9) is one of the most extensive growth periods of the pregnancy. Normally, baby will grow 1.5mm a day, but this week, is substantial!:o) I cannot wait to meet our little baby, but it was so nice being able to 'see' our little baby last Friday. I placed some of the ultrasound pictures in my pregnancy planner, and the rest on the refrigerator. Oh! I forgot to mention that jellybeans heart rate was 186 bpm.:o) The tech took a picture of the heart rate as well, so that is on the fridge also!:o)
