24 months/15 weeks

Over the weekend, on Saturday, we went with Deb to the Witzler Shank Fall Festival.  The kids got emergency IDs, saw a juggler, Leah had a pumpkin face painted on her and met Happy the Clown.  Leah was a bit scared at first, but then calmed down, and told Happy, 'Hi!'  She's so brave.  She got an elephant and Ward got a pumpkin on a stick.  They petted a pony, rabbit and guinea hen-- Leah ran right up to the guinea hen:)  Then Leah sat in a Sheriff car and saw a fire truck.  We picked up the kids pumpkins and went out to eat at China Buffet.

A few weeks back the littles were sick-- Leah has a fever of 101 and a rash on her back, chest and neck.  Little man had a lowgrade fever too-- 99.6.  Dr thought all was fine, but initially concerned because she had had her MMR and chickenpox vaccine 11 days earlier.  Brother man got the rest of his 2 month vaccines.

With the beautiful fall weather, we've been walking to the park acouple times a week after work.  Leah loves playing on 'her' playground and little man is snug as a bug in my carrier.

Leah - 24 months
Leah is such a ball of energy!  Loves playing at the park, and being outside in general!

Leah is peeing on the potty so well this month!  We have switched to pull-ups and have been putting her on the potty every 20 minutes or so.  She still isn't pooping on the potty, nor is she telling us she has to go potty.  We will get there!  We are so proud of her!

Leah is eating so well by herself and is even helping out around the house-- putting things away especially.

She is talking in 7-8 word sentences and talks up a storm!  She even corrects us when we say the wrong word or phrase!  She is one smart cookie that Leah!

The trains have been waking her up in the middle of the night and for some reason, she is unable to go back to sleep after that happens.  It has been a long few weeks for daddy and I!

When she feeds her baby, she puts it up to her bellybutton to 'feed the baby' - we die!

Ward - 15 weeks
Little man sits up on his own!  Last night, at 15 weeks exactly, I was sitting on the floor with him between my legs, leaning on my stomach, going through clothes.  He pulled himself up, stayed there, then put his right hand on my knee to help support himself.  It was the cutest thing I've ever seen!  That little bean sitting up, looking around!  Can't get enough of that little ferdy!

Ward is so good in restaurants!  We put him in the old infant carrier and he sits and watches and smiles:)

He is sitting in his bumbo and just getting used to his johnny jump-up.  Doesn't jump, but does move his feet and push off to where it starts to turn.  Loves tummy time-- doesn't cry with that either!  Just starting to hold his wooby-- so sweet to see him pick it up and shove it in his face:o)

He LOVES getting a bath-- smiles and coos through the whole thing!  He also loves getting his diaper changed!  I don't think he's cried once during a diaper change!  He loves when you take care of him.  He also loves his vitamin D drops-- sucks them right down!

Still blowing bubbles and drooling like crazy.  No sign of teeth yet though.

Been reading both kids books at the same time-- he looks right at the pictures and is so content.

Just starting to really want to be with us-- if he can't see us, he'll fuss.  He is happy by either moving him so he can see or picking him up.

Sleeping pretty well, but recently, last two weeks or so, wakes multiple times during night to feed and wants held-- I end up sleeping with him and nursing him while lying down in a droggy haze.
