30 weeks

Leah's Seven Months Old!!

We have quite the smart little cookie on our hands!  While taking a bath together, she grabbed her binky, shoved it in her mouth the right way!  I was so excited for her!  But then, this is where she freaked my mind!  She pulled it out, turned the binky part to me and tried shoving it IN MY MOUTH!!  She knew it goes in your mouth and knew that it was my mouth!  I was so excited-- it was sooo cute!'

She is still rocking and taking one step when crawling.  She wants to get going and it is so cute to see her try!  She doesn't get too angry anymore, she just finds a way-- either rolling or scooting:)

She went to Hometown Buffet with the family on Friday and had such a great time looking at everyone, smiling, laughing and eating some carrots from the buffet.  Then, we went again this week and brought her highchair.  She was soooo good!  Eating, smiling, flirting with people at the next table.

She officially likes to sleep on her belly, so I think gone are the days of full swaddling.  She just usually sleeps so sound swaddled, but last few nights, she wants unswaddled and will fussy and wake until she is.  She pulled herself out of the straightjacket last night and flipped to her belly and slept the whole night through.

Leah is in her big girl carseat this week.  Hometown Buffet was her first 'trip'.  She seems to really like sitting more upright.  We love it because the passenger doesn't have to hug the dashboard.  It is so much more comfortable for all of us.  It looks so nice too and it is also nice not having to lug around that heavy infant seat.  I am taking her grocery shopping tonight so it will be funny watching her sit in the cart seat.:)

Guess who cut her first tooth on May 5?!?!?!?  Baby girl's bottom right tooth popped through!  She won't let me look at it, but I can sure feel it when she gnaws on my finger!!
