29 weeks

The past week Leah has been getting on her hands and knees and rocking back and forth like a crazy woman!  She looks up at you with the biggest smile and thinks it is hilarious when you clap for her and she gets moving that little body even faster!  Then last night, Thursday, April 28, she was rocking it and I was holding her 'goodnight moon' book.  She CRAWLED!!! to her book!!  It was amazing!  I yelled for Dave and she did it again!  Just one step, but she actually crawled to her favorite book!

Loves playing with her little people and little people house!

Leah is quite the mover lately.  Always squirming, turning, scooting, rolling, grabbing.  I had her on the bed watching Barney for the first time and within seconds, the little thing flips over from her back to belly and starts that rocking on her hands and knees!  She can't be left alone at all anymore for fear she will fall off the bed or really get into something!  She will be crawling like crazy within the week is my guess!

Leah is playing peek-a-boo this week!!!:)  Too cute!!

She ate oatmeal for the first time this week-- loved it with her grapes.  It smelled like grape cobbler:)

She's had a bad rash lately on her bum, so we stopped using disposables and put her in cloth-- cleared it right up!  Here we were using disposables to use cream and that ended up causing the rash to stay!

Leah hugs and kisses like crazy now.  Very deliberate and intentional.  Right when I come to Heather's to pick her up, she turns to crawl up on me and kisses me on the face.  It is amazing.  I LOVE IT!:)  Too stinking cute!  She is quite the little love bug.

After her bedtime routine, we now 'cuddle' until she melts down.  We watch Shushybye on tv and she lays her head on my chest and picks at her wooby while sucking away on her pacifier.  It is precious!

She's been favoring her pacifier lately-- she showed no interest in it for months, and now she is using it quite a bit-- especially for bedtime and naps.

We have been unswaddling her during bedtime and this week was the first time she slept on her belly the entire night.  She had rolled and flipped herself all around her crib and soothed herself to sleep with her plug and wooby.

She has also outgrown her pack-n-play bassinet and is now using just the p-n-p.  She still looks so tiny while sleeping in it.:)  Dave set up the stereo in her room so that the static is more consistent and sounds much better-- not so harsh and it can be kept on all night.  That really helps as she still relies on it.
