They took my blood pressure, 126/72, which for me is low so I was thrilled about that! I weighed 180.5, so I have gained 25.5 pounds in 7, almost 8 months. Dr. said that things seem to be progressing along just great and glad to see me at 28 weeks. Baby is farther along and the chances of survival are far more greater if anything were to happen. She is not on-call the week I am due, so she said she would work something out. We also asked her about inducing and she said legally she cannot induce before 39 weeks if everything is going well. The reason this came up is because she said baby is breech and that a natural birth is not a possibility and a c-section is the only way to deliver. I was upset at first, but realized, as long as she is healthy, having a c-section is not a big deal. She mentioned the possibility of doing an external version which is manually externally turning the baby, but that will be decided after my next ultrasound to see if she has turned on her own.
I've been praying for her safety, health and that she would turn on her own. I do not feel real comfortable having them turn her, since it must be done at the hospital in case it stresses her out and we have to deliver right then. I really don't want to give birth at 32 weeks. I am going to keep praying about what decision we should make, but I am going to keep it at bay and not stress until this is an actual issue we need to handle.
God has blessed us so much that I know all of this is in his hands.
