34 weeks

Leah is 8 months old!!!!

This was a fun week for little Leah.  On Saturday, May 28, Leah had her very first trip to the Toledo Zoo!  She had such a nice time and the weather was perfect! We also had her first professional pictures taken with Zoe.  They turned out gorgeous! On Monday, Memorial Day, Leah went to her first memorial day parade!  (her first parade was the holiday parade in November)  She loved watching the shriners in their tiny cars and loved the sparkles and colors on the floats.

She has become very attached to her little 'wooby'.  When I pick her up out of her crib, she reaches back and grabs it and rubs her face on it.  It is so cute:)

She has picked up quite a bit of speed and is moving all around the upstairs of our house!  Bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom.  She really doesn't like to not have you in eye sight range, so she does fuss and crawl to wherever you are.  It sure breaks my heart having her cry and crawl to you!!  If she gets near you, she pulls on your pant leg and pulls herself up.  She is still pulling up on everything and doing the 'pike' position.  She also stands on her tip-toes, it is so cute.

She loves being outside.  She crawled onto the grass yesterday for the first time.  Then she sat.  Didn't move.  Just sat.  Dave joked about keeping her on grass all the time because it keeps her put.:)

She's makes the cutest noises.  Lately has be a 'pha pha' sound and really gets her lips and breath into it.  It is so cute.  She'll do it over and over.  She also has been pinching us with her toes.  It is so strange and can really hurt!
