16 weeks

Little Leah has outgrown her bassinet-- she is so long that in the morning, her little legs are bent and her knees are pressed up against the end of the bed!  I got out the pack-n-play and installed the bassinet attachment.  Now she looks teeny in her bed!:)  The weight restriction is 15 pounds, which seems small to me but hopefully we'll get some use out of it.  Her playmat toys fit right in the slots, so she is able to play safely in her crib while I am able to get some cleaning done around the house.

On Tuesday the 25th, BABY GIRL ROLLED OVER!!  It was very exciting!  Before work, I had her on our bed watching 'Chuggington' and the little stinker rolled over on her left side!  I moved her onto her back, and she did it again!  It was very exciting!:o)  Then, when I picked her up from the sitters, the sitter told me that she was rolling over all day!  This time, to the right!  At first she said Leah was 'shocked' at what she was doing, but after she clapped and said, yay!, she was all smiles and kept on doing it.  That little stink bug!  She is sooo cute!

Since I have gone back to work, I am having a issues with making enough milk for her during the day, about 2 oz a pump--wherein she eats 4-5 oz a feed.  I called the lactation consultant and she suggested a new 'multiple times a day use' pump, taking herbs, and pumping and nursing like a phene.  She suggested every couple weekends to nurse around the clock, every hour/two hours, constantly.  She said this will bring up the supply within acouple days.  She also suggested pumping during the night.  Since baby girl is now sleeping during the night, getting up to pump hasn't been 'ideal'.  I am still not getting much from these pumps and I am having a hard time falling back to sleep.  I am sure all of this will pay off in the long run.  Only time will tell!  I would love to be able to feed her 100% breast milk and will do everything in my power to do so.
