14 weeks

Baby girl is growing like a weed!  She has completely outgrown all of her 0-3 month clothes and fits quite well into her 3-6 months.  I don't think they will even last much longer!

This week I put her in her exersaucer for the first time and she LOVES it!  I was concerned that she couldn't hold her head up long enough, but she does and goes to town on all the nobs and buttons and squeals the entire time!  It really tires the bug out, which is helping in the evening:)

For the first time, she is letting me put her in the snuggli baby carrier.  I was having her face me in the infant part of the carrier because of the head issue, but I put her facing out and she is really content!  Last night I was able to cook dinner, clean the kitchen and start laundry-- all with little bug attached and content.  It was so wonderful because prior to that she was in that inbetween happy/fussy starting to get sleepy stage and would cry when I put her down.  I am going to start using the carrier every day!  I don't feel guilty either because she is with me and I am able to sing and interact with her while doing household chores.  It is a win win.  Baby is happy, I am happy and the house and husband are happy.:)

We are also using the bumbo with the tray attachment this week.  It only last about 10-15 minutes or so but she does grab at the items I put on her tray.  She still looks pretty 'hunched' when she is in the bumbo, which I am not too thrilled about.  But it is strengthening her muscles so it is a good form of exercise for her.

She is starting to touch us more.  She'll grab my arm and even pick at it, and the other day she put her arm around my neck while I was carrying her.  While she nurses, she is starting to rub my skin or pick at my shirt.  She now picks at her silky constantly and it is cute because she even does it as she is drifting off to sleep.
