12 weeks old

Leah's first Christmas!

We had Christmas at our house this year.  It was so special and wonderful to have all the grandparents and uncle Matt there with us!

Went back to work on the 27th after being off for 13 weeks.  Thankfully, Dave took the week off to be with her.  It has been such a blessing to know that she is home being taken care of so well.  Zoe has been such a great help too!  She is so good bopping her and soothing her.  It is so amazing seeing them together.:)

I miss Leah so much, but knowing Dave is home with her makes things 100 times better.  It is harder than I thought being away from her.  I race home to be with her.  I can't wait to see her little face and hold her.  I was afraid that she might forget me, but I still get smiles and coos, so my heart is full and content.  Next week will be the real doozie when she is with the sitter.

Leah's been just wonderful and is pretty much on a schedule.  She eats every three hours, about four ounces and loves having her mitts in her mouth.  She is sleeping about 8 hours every night with me waking her up at 5:30 in the morning to feed before work.  I am going to try working out putting her down earlier than 9 or 10p, because after the 5:00pm feed, she is a sleepy, groggy thing-- no real playing, just wants cuddled and she has very heavy eyes.  Plus, I'll be waking her up even earlier for a feed when she goes to the sitters-- so we'll see.  I'll try it out this weekend.

I can't believe my baby girl is going to be three months tomorrow!!
