37 weeks

I went to see specialist Dr. Hnat today.  Dave ended up having to work, but he was able to work things out and take his lunch at 2:30 so he could come down and see the ultrasounds.  It was amazing!  To be able to see her so clearly and then to have the 3D and see every feature of her face!  It is such a miracle from God to see this perfect little baby in my belly!!  She was practicing breathing, her heart rate was 133 and she weighs 6 pounds, 5 oz!  Prayerfully, she is not HUGE!  No c-section!:o)

My blood pressure has been slightly elevated the last few drs visits (136/82, 142/88, 128/93) and today it was 138/95.  Dr told me that since I have made it to full term (37 weeks) and baby is a good weight, he feels there is no need to put me on different bp meds.  He gave the go-ahead to induce on October 6, but he doesn't think I'll last that long with my increasing blood pressure.  He said if it does about 140/90 to call my dr.  Luckily, if my bp is high, they can still induce and not just c-section.

We are truly blessed to have a healthy, beautiful baby girl!!  To think that I've carried this little gift for 37 weeks!!  I never imagined this to be possible-- but with God, all things are possible.  He has blessed our family beyond words.  I cannot wait to see her, to hold her, to see Dave hold her--- it is just going to be amazing!!  I pray that she can 'bake' another 12 days and go to my induce date!:o)
